Village Taxes are billed July 1st of each year and
due by September 15th of the same year.
Taxes can be paid at the Village
offices during normal business hours or by mail. (Credit and debit cards are not accepted)
Note for Bruce Township Residents only - 2009 tax bills are an INTERIM TAX LEVY
Per Bruce Twp. Assessing Department: Interim Tax Levy subject to adjustment after an Assessment Roll is Certified.
The payment of a tax levied as Interim Tax Levy does not constitute a final and ultimate discharge of the
taxpayer's liability for the tax levied againt that property.
After September 15 each year taxes must be paid to the Macomb County Treasurer's office
and cannot be paid at the Village Offices.

before sending. You can also select the link below to verify payment or non-payment of property taxes and delinquent amounts owed.
If taxes were paid after September 15th of their respective year or are showing $0.00 paid on Village Public Tax records search,
please select the Macomb County Link to verify
whether taxes have been paid or are delinquent.
Current Assessing and Township Tax information must be obtained through your respective
township in addition to the tax obligation for the Village of Romeo.
