b) Arbor day planning 2024 update
i) Arbor day ceremony to be April 26th 9:30am 2024 at trailside park
ii) Planting to be at trailside park. Ten trees are to be planted.
(1) Holes to be dug prior to the 26th. G. Smith will supervise digging on April 24. Digging will be done by DPW.
(2) Mulch will be needed. One yard should be plenty. G. Smith to verify
(3) Planting spots to be marked prior to digging. Who?
(4) Trees to ordered. Lisa
(5) Trees to be delivered preferably on 24th or 25th. DPW and police to be notified. Who will be there to accept delivery and to tape off trees as to avoid theft.
(6) Green Macomb is bringing banner for park, photos, and press release. This needs to coordinated with Green Macomb. Who will coordinate this?
iii) Presentation by Joe Young at South bldg. meeting room. April 27th 11:00am.
