To our valued clients:
As we come together as a community to combat the effects of COVID-19 we want you to know that our staff stands ready to assist you and your business during this time.
Technology makes it possible for us to work remotely in observance of Governor Whitmer’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order. If you have a question or concern, please reach out directly to your business development specialist or call 586-469-5285 to be connected to someone who can help.
You can also visit the COVID-19 Resources for Businesses page on our website, which provides regularly updated information on a variety of topics. Some key of the resources we suggest you take a look at are:
• Federal grants and loans available through the U.S. Small Business Administration
• Details about the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act
• Guidance for employers and employees from the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity
Last, but certainly not least, we want to let you know about an initiative we have partnered with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to provide to local businesses – the Michigan Small Business Relief Grant program. Applications for this program are now open and being accepted until Friday, April 3, 2020 at 5 p.m. For information about eligibility and how to submit an application, please visit the Macomb Small Business Relief page.
We thank you again for being part of the Macomb County business ecosystem and promise to do all we can to be a source of guidance in these unprecedented times.
Best regards, Macomb County Planning and Economic Development
